Recently Google launched its new Search Keyword Tool, a free way to find new keywords for your website based on some of the top searches already used to find your site, as well as other words and phrases you may not have considered. This new tool goes well beyond the “Traffic Estimator” – Google’s standard keyword research tool you’ve likely used if you’re promoting with Adwords. Keep reading to find out how this tool makes marketing with Adwords even better.
To see how Google’s Keyword Tool works, visit http://www.google.com/sktool – type in your website and a few of your keywords. For any keyword, Google will present up to 800 related keywords with a bar graph showing advertiser competition and a suggested bid price — ideal if you’re working with Google’s Adwords pay-per-click campaigns, but even if you’re not, the Search Keyword tool will give you some valuable insight into keywords you might never have thought of using.

For one thing, it extracts keywords you’re already using (but may not be bidding on) directly from your website, so every report is customized expressly for you. Obviously this is a bit of a carrot to get more people spending with Adwords, but you can still use this information to create landing pages, relevant blog posts and article marketing.
Getting Specific with Keyword Searches
If you want to get really specific with highly-targeted keywords (ideal for niche marketers or people in very competitive industries like weight loss or real estate), you can use Google’s Search Keyword tool to filter out bid price range, negative keywords, the degree of competition (high, medium or low), and much more.
Everything can be exported in a single click, which allows you to build up a very impressive and profitable keyword list rather quickly. You can also use it to see how many people are coming to your site by way of organic (natural) search or via paid search and adjust your bids (or improve your organic SEO) accordingly.
Search Results Not What You’d Hoped For?
If your natural SEO standings are languishing and you’re looking for a way to perk them up, you may need a qualified SEO copywriter to help bring more people in through natural search, targeted keywords and compelling content.
You can always get a free, no obligation quote in less than a minute. If your PPC ads aren’t getting the exposure and the clicks you want, you can use the same SEO copywriting service we offer to get high-converting ads tailored to your precise campaigns.

Great post. YOu make it seem so easy to share your experiences. I wish I could do as well in sharing on my blog. I just got it started and sometimes feel stuck on what to share or if it is the right thing to share. what to do?

The best way to know if something is worth sharing is to see what other people are talking about. Use social networks and Google’s keyword tool to find out how your product or service is being searched and what people are asking. You’d be surprised at what you’ll learn! Sometimes the things you think are easy are the very things people struggle with and have questions about. Try it and see how it works for you
